Deposit

A minimal non-returnable deposit of £30 per room is required for booking. No reservation will be deemed as being made until the deposit has been received. A confirmation email will be sent to you and will act as a receipt.

Cancellation of Booking

If you cancel within 14 days of check-in the balance of the booking is payable in full. However, if we are able to re-let the room you would be "refunded with a deduction" of an admin fee of £30 plus any additional costs incurred in letting the room. You are strongly advised to have adequate travel insurance cover in place to cover all eventualities. Please contact me for details if required.

Final Payment of Account

Payment is by cheque, Travelers Cheque, Sterling cash or Euros. I regret that I do not have credit card facilities at home only via Online Booking. All cheque's should be made payable to Tate House B & B.

Reckless Damage

We ask that you treat your accommodation here at Tate House as you would your own home. We retain the right to charge you for the cost of rectification of any excessive soilage or damage you cause to our property or furnishings in our home.

Behaviour

For the consideration of all our guests we ask that you recognise and respect acceptable noise levels or behaviour. Unacceptable behaviour may result in termination of your booking without refund or compensation.

NO Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any part of my home. Notices are in place and failure to adhere will result in prosecution as stated by Law and a £100 cleaning charge will be payable without fail. Please respect my wishes and my home.

 

Quality Assured

Tate House is a family home hence the classification of "bed and breakfast". We provide a very high standard of fixtures and fittings including quality fresh clean 80/20 wool carpets throughout, we would like to think our guests will respect our No Shoes policy. Please treat our home and business as you would yours.
