Tate House is a two story late Victorian town house built in 1885 and situated within the centre of Alnwick. The property has recently undergone an extensive upgrading and refurbishment program to bring this town house back to life. All rooms are large and spacious and are full of character.

Barter Books is just next door at the former Alnwick Railway Station, the largest second hand bookshop in the country, along with Shire Pottery Gallery and Studio, run by studio potter and fine porcelain thrower, Ivar Mackay.
